This role is responsible for ensuring that business applications are fit for purpose, secure, scalable, and continuously improving, enabling operational excellence across the organization.
The ERP is currently being deployed, and this role will lead the transition from implementation into stabilization, optimization, and ongoing enhancement. In addition to ERP, this role oversees all divisional/regionally managed cloud platforms. This position will lead solution management as well as possibly the IT PMO depending on the needs of the organization.

- Post‑deployment stabilization, operational readiness, and adoption
- Ongoing enhancements, roadmap planning, and release management
- Alignment of application capabilities to evolving business processes
- Data integrity, integration quality, and reporting effectiveness
- Rationalization of processes, data models, and application usage across merged organizations
- Act as the business and technology owner for ERP, balancing functional needs, technical feasibility, and long‑term sustainability:
- Lead solution architecture and application management for ERP and business applications, ensuring solutions meet business requirements while remaining secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Own solution design decisions for ERP, integrations, automations, and business applications:
- Translating business requirements into fit‑for‑purpose solution designs and prioritized application backlogs
- Defining integration patterns, data flows, and application interfaces aligned to ERP and enterprise architecture
- Governing configuration versus customization decisions to minimize long‑term technical debt
- Overseeing configuration, customization, and integration delivery across internal and vendor‑led teams
- Ensuring solutions are documented, operationally ready, and supportable post‑implementation
- Ensure applications are secure by design, well‑documented, supportable and maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
- Own the application portfolio not managed by Bosch Corporate:
- SaaS platforms (e.g., Fieldwire, Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Specialized line‑of‑business systems
- Supporting integrations and data flows
- Vendor selection, contract oversight, performance management; cost optimization and licensing governance; roadmap alignment and dependency management; escalations and issue resolution; automation, AI enablement and citizen development governance.
- Align and support the ERP for automation and AI enablement, ensuring data, integrations, and architecture support future AI capabilities:
- Enable business‑led automation and AI‑assisted workflows using low‑code tools to improve productivity and operational efficiency
- Support a citizen developer operating model, allowing teams and departments to independently build automations, reports, and lightweight solutions
- Establish and enforce governance, guardrails, and standards for automation, AI usage, data access, security, and lifecycle management
- Ensure visibility, risk management, and alignment of these initiatives with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity expectations
- Focus areas include Power Platform, D365 Copilot capabilities, reporting automation, and workflow orchestration while explicitly avoiding unmanaged shadow IT
- Program & PMO leadership (as applicable)
- Potentially lead or oversee IT Project Management Office, including application and ERP‑related programs and initiatives; standardized project delivery methods and governance; cross‑functional coordination with Finance, Operations and Corporate IT; risk, dependency and change management; ensuring predictable delivery while supporting continuous improvement.
