Wireless Technology Lab Network Infrastructure Support
This position will support the Wireless Technology lab network infrastructure. Daily responsibilities will be to deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot various hardware supporting proof of concept activities within the lab network. Troubleshooting may require working with multiple team members to overcome an impacting lab issue, identifying the root cause, and implementing a fix to correct the issue. Documentation will be required to be maintained over time so the lab environment is well understood from an inventory and connectivity perspective.
There is a special focus of this position supporting Managed Wi-Fi network infrastructure.
Experience with initial setup, advanced configuration, troubleshooting, operating, and documenting at least one major network infrastructure vendor.
Network Administration knowledge (CCNA level - solid Layer 2 - 4 fundamentals).
Ability to capture network traffic and analyze to assist in determining root cause.
Participating with weekly vendor meetings to review known issues and road map sessions.
