Senior UX Designer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior UX Designer to support one of our clients in the financial services space. This individual will partner with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and designers to build end-to-end digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is both analytical and creative, with a strong ability to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly solutions.

The UX Designer will play a key role in modernizing digital products and driving adoption through thoughtful, customer-centric design.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows based on user needs and product requirements
• Conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Developing personas and journey maps to enhance user experience strategy
• Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to deliver intuitive solutions
• Applying user-centered design principles to solve complex UX challenges
• Evaluating and improving interaction models, usability, and overall experience
• Communicating design decisions and strategy effectively to stakeholders

Must haves:

• 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design
• Strong expertise with Figma (and tools such as Fig Jam or Miro)
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Experience creating wireframes, screen flows, and prototypes
• Strong background in usability, journey mapping, information architecture, and interaction design
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and stakeholder teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX projects, including case studies and design process
• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field

Nice to haves:

• Experience in financial services or regulated industries
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, or JavaScript (React preferred)
• Experience building or contributing to design systems
• Background in project management or UX research strategy
• Experience designing across multiple devices and screen sizes

Onsite requirements:

• Hybrid schedule: 2-3 days onsite per week
• Contract

This position pays $60-65/hr
