Salary Range
: $123,462 USD to $163,873 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
The Senior Manager of Identity & Access Governance (IAG) at Frontier Airlines oversees the critical function of Identity Access Governance within the Cybersecurity team. The manager leads a team that is responsible for overseeing and supporting processes related to authentication, authorization, profile management, and recertification. The manager drives the maturity of the IAG program by implementing best practices and increasing adoption through onboarding technology platforms and refining processes.
The manager serves as the primary point of contact for access provisioning, governance, and administrative needs across the organization and works to expand the adoption of a corporate Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution.
- Provide organizational and technical leadership on identity and access management.
- Design, deliver, and execute the Identity and Access Governance vision and roadmap.
- Implement IAG program management, governance, and lead technical teams.
- Support development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and documented controls.
- Manage user access reviews for key systems and applications.
- Manage role review and segregation of duties control functions.
- Integrate and manage automated IGA solutions for recertification campaigns.
- Lead a combination of onshore/offshore team members to complete tasks timely and effectively.
- Collaborate with Internal and External Audit functions to ensure compliance.
- Assure SDLC and change-related controls are followed when implementing IGA solutions.
- Support onboarding of access-related controls and recurring testing on regulated applications.
- Establish and enforce password and account lockout policies.
- Support commercial-facing consumer single sign‑on (multi‑factor) capability.
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement IAM/IGA solutions that align with corporate goals.
- Conduct discovery workshops and interview business owners for gap analysis and best‑practice proposals.
- Collaborate with business, cybersecurity, systems/network engineering, security administrators, and application owners to prioritize, develop, and deliver identity & access standards.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of projects, including development and configuration of IAM/IGA solutions.
- Design and implement enterprise IAM/IGA solutions, integrating feeds/interfaces with HR, contractor management, Active Directory, IT service management tools, and downstream applications.
- Oversee Privileged Identity Access (PIM) and Privilege Access Management (PAM) efforts.
- Measure and report on IAM performance metrics and drive improvement.
- Stay abreast of current business and industry trends.
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Support M&A activities with access control due diligence reviews.
- Act as a role model and mentor team members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- 5+ years of operational experience maintaining Active Directory, IAM solutions, or User Account Management platforms.
- 4+ years of experience configuring and implementing packaged or custom IAM solutions (e.g., Saviynt, SailPoint, Forge Rock).
- 5+ years of experience with control performance on Identity & Access Governance activities.
- 3+ years of direct people management.
- 5+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience with the airline industry is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining policies, standards, and guidance artifacts.
- Expert knowledge in core IAM domains:
