Aerospace Solutions includes AWS Ground Station, a fully managed, global Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS) that enables customers to control, ingest, and process satellite data with usage‑based per‑minute pricing, self‑service scheduling, and a worldwide network of ground stations near AWS Regions.
Key Responsibilities- Work across product, program, engineering, hardware, software, and infrastructure teams to manage requirements, scope, and delivery of worldwide AWS Ground Station features and locations.
- Represent service architecture and technical needs across Amazon, including spectrum licensing.
- Assess risks, anticipate issues, overcome technical obstacles, and make difficult trade‑off decisions while managing cost and schedule to achieve deployment goals and meet customer commitments.
- Represent program status to senior leadership and influence decisions, driving secure and scalable solutions.
- Own the planning and execution of new services, including architecture decisions, design reviews, and cross‑team collaboration to deliver world‑class solutions for customers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical‑path management.
- 5+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Lead highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, or systems engineering.
- Define KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million‑dollar businesses and report to senior leadership.
- Experience with network, system, or software architecture.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non‑technical leaders.
- Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive stakeholders or clients.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Salary & BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is USD to USD annually. Additional compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. Salary ranges for specific locations:
- USA, CO, Denver – – USD annually
