Responsibilities

  • Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
  • Conduct cost‑benefit analyses and support hardware/software selection decisions.
  • Perform testing and validation of network designs.
  • Monitor network hardware to verify proper configuration and performance.
  • Plan and execute network enhancements and upgrades.
  • Advise users on hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.
  • Maintain deep technical expertise across routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and related infrastructure.
  • Evaluate emerging communications technologies for future deployment.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
  • BS, 12‑15 years of relevant experience; MS, 10‑13 years;
    PhD, 10+ years
  • One or more of the following DoD 8570/CS‑NET‑441 certifications: CASP+, CISSP, GCED
  • One or more of the following network certifications:
    Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP Enterprise/Security), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP)
Desired Qualifications
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional (if cloud networking is in scope)
  • Microsoft or VMware networking‑related certifications
  • Azure Network Engineer Associate

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Developer to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Network Engineer/Developer will design, plan, develop, test, secure, and optimize enterprise‑level network solutions in support of mission‑critical operations. This position plays a key part in the architecture, evaluation, deployment, and modernization of network communications systems across the agency.
