Overview

Modivcare is seeking an experienced MDM Architect to design and implement enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities that provide trusted, governed, high-quality data across Member, Provider, Facility, and other domains. The role supports healthcare operations, analytics, AI-driven decision-making, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Master Data Management & Solution Architecture: design and implement enterprise MDM solutions, including canonical data models, entity relationships, hierarchies, reference data, and enterprise data standards.
  • Establish trusted Golden Records through identity resolution, survivorship rules, and deterministic/probabilistic matching.
  • Configure, implement, and optimize MDM platforms such as Ataccama ONE, Reltio, or similar technologies.
  • Define and maintain canonical data models and governance standards for consistency across applications.
  • Ensure master data is accurate, governed, reusable, and available across Member, Provider, Facility, and other domains.
  • Design scalable architecture to support operations, growth, analytics, and AI initiatives.
  • Data Integration & APIs: design secure, scalable APIs and data services to expose mastered data; support real-time, near real-time, and batch data exchange.
  • Develop integration patterns enabling enterprise-wide consumption of trusted master data; ensure secure governance across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Data Engineering: build and maintain cloud-native data pipelines using AWS Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, Step Functions; develop transformation logic with SQL and dbt; support CI/CD and IaC (Terraform or Pulumi); implement testing, documentation, lineage, and governance.
  • Data Quality & Stewardship: collaborate on metadata management, stewardship, lineage, governance; define and monitor data quality metrics, KPIs, and SLAs; ensure HIPAA/PHI/PII compliance and governance adoption across the enterprise.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years in data architecture, data engineering, data warehousing, or related disciplines.
  • 4+ years designing/implementing enterprise MDM solutions with platforms such as Ataccama ONE, Reltio, or similar.
  • Experience designing scalable cloud-based data platforms and enterprise integration solutions.
  • Experience developing enterprise APIs and modern data service layers; AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, Step Functions).
  • Hands-on dbt experience (transformation development, testing, documentation, lineage, governance, deployment).
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or Pulumi).
  • Advanced SQL and data modeling skills (dimensional modeling, star schemas, SCDs, canonical models, analytics design).
  • Experience with data quality, observability, monitoring, and remediation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of MDM principles (Golden Records, identity resolution, survivorship, reference data, governance) and enterprise data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview).
  • Experience with healthcare data domains (Member, Provider, Facility, Claims, Care Management) and HIPAA/PHI/PII compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Benefits & Other Details
  • Salary: $140,000–$185,000
  • Bonus eligibility based on individual and company performance
