Position: ServiceNow Lead Technical Consultant - ITAM (HAM/SAM)

RGP is seeking a Lead Technical Consultant to join our fast-growing Service Now Practice team. The resource will be responsible for the successful delivery of Service Now's solutions and services, in a client consulting environment.

What You Will Work On

The Lead Technical Consultant will be responsible to lead project implementations and develop, invest, and maintain thought leadership with deep subject matter expertise related to Service Now platform, product capabilities and complimentary technologies in a client-consulting environment including IT Service Management;
Customer Service Management, HR Service Delivery, Source to Pay, App Engine Applications, Employee Center Pro, NOW Experience and UI Builder. Lead all technical aspects of the project delivery and solution delivery on the Service Now platform including:

  • Assist Business Process Consultant in workshops to gather agile user stories/epics/features and size stories.
  • Direct customers on industry and Service Now best practices across products and platform implementations
  • Solution and Design for Custom App Engine Application Development
  • Development of client specific reporting needs including Performance Analytics
  • Interface with Service Now technical product teams as needed
  • Be the technical lead member on implementation project teams, directing other developers on the team
  • Prepare all client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences
  • Subject Matter Expert on the delivery of Service Now solutions
  • Creation and delivery of solutions for customers addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design and technical best practices and standards
  • Collaborate and Contribute to the creation, deployment and maintenance of Technical Best Practices and Standards
  • Ensuring technical deliverables to are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomes
  • Achieve Service Now Practice and Individual KPI’s and Metrics as defined
What You Will Bring Desired Skills
  • 4+ years of Service Now implementation experience in a client consulting environment
  • Minimum 8 years demonstrated experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments (Various technical stack experiences)
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership consulting roles, client facing required
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end development, traditional software engineering such as Java, C#, C++ highly desirable
  • Proficiency with Agile project management and delivery methodologies
  • Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering disciplines
  • Certified Service Now Administrator and/or Implementation Specialist such as: CIS-SAM, CIS-HAM, CIS-ITSM, CSA, CAD

  • Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving is an absolute essential skill
  • Ability to understand and interpret business needs and identify appropriate business and technical solutions to meet those needs
