Position: Program Manager, Partner Integrations — U.S. Bank Avvance Point of Sale Lending

Job Overview

U.S. Bank Avvance, our point‑of‑sale lending product, is seeking a skilled Program Manager, Partner Integrations with exceptional program/project management process and methodology experience to contribute toward the success of Avvance partner integration initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Independently direct and manage overall work efforts of partner integration programs across the Connect, Flex, and Express integration types, ensuring proper controls and processes from signed deal through go‑live and handoff to Customer Success.
  • Manage partner integration projects from initial deal review and internal kickoff through implementation, go‑live readiness, and post‑implementation transition per established methodology.
  • Define and maintain the integration operating model, including standards for intake, kickoff, RAID management, status reporting, documentation, and go‑live readiness.
  • Utilize project plans, integration playbooks, templates, and reporting tools to manage timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, scope, and quality expectations.
  • Build relationships with key project stakeholders and serve as senior liaison across Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Onboarding, Sales, Customer Success, and partner technical teams.
  • Ensure the appropriate integration type is selected and executed with clear alignment on quality, timeline, and scope.
  • Address issues through direct dialogue with project resources, partner stakeholders, and internal leadership.
  • Develop relationships with leadership of key project resources and represent Partner Integrations to senior bank leadership and partner executives.
  • Author and maintain project management artifacts, including project plans, integration documentation, readiness materials, status updates, RAID logs, and executive communications.
  • Establish and observe project governance throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Recognize, clarify, and prioritize project activities, dependencies, blockers, and decisions needed to keep partner implementations on track.
  • Author clear, concise communication for stakeholders and present appropriate messages to senior leaders and executives.
  • Determine required knowledge, skill sets, resources, and cross‑functional support for successful partner integration outcomes.
  • Obtain appropriate resources and drive timely execution with internal teams and resource managers.
  • Promote collaborative relationships across project team members and work effectively across the organization to achieve goals.
  • Manage formal handoff to Customer Success at conclusion of integration, ensuring documentation, configurations, partner context, and readiness details are transferred cleanly.
  • Partner with Product to align certification timelines for new Avvance feature releases and re‑engage on projects to coordinate testing, readiness, rollout planning, and cross‑functional execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the integration function by refining playbooks, templates, tooling, reporting, and operating standards.
  • Identify friction points across the partner journey and lead cross‑functional work to resolve them, scaling the Avvance integration model as the partner portfolio grows.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives and contribute to overall team effectiveness within Partner Success.
Qualifications

Basic Understanding in:
System development life cycle, Document management.

Working experience in: IT project management, Project control and reporting, MS Project, Project planning and organization.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. At least 7 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling IT projects.

Location Expectations

This role is hybrid. Team members typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
