The PEAK Product Enhancement Specialist manages and leads user enhancement projects for the Program Eligibility Application Kit (PEAK), a self‑service portal serving Colorado's Medicaid and other benefits programs. The role involves planning and monitoring contracted vendor projects, conducting business needs assessments, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring federal compliance. The position is based in Denver and reports to the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing.
Keyqualifications:
- Seven years of professional experience in product management, user experience, or public benefit delivery systems; or bachelor's degree plus three years of relevant experience
- Experience managing projects through vendor life cycles and leading cross‑functional teams
- Knowledge of benefits programs such as Health First Colorado, SNAP, Adult Financial, or Colorado Works
- Experience with digital application maintenance and making data-informed enhancements
- Ability to conduct user research and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
