Job Summary

In this contractor role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, and development teams to elicit and document requirements, translate complex business needs into actionable deliverables, and ensure successful solution delivery within a leading enterprise service management platform. This position demands strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation in fast-paced, Agile environments.

• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with business and technical stakeholders to capture current and future-state needs
• Analyze, document, and map current and future-state business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented
• Support backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning activities within Agile and Scrum frameworks
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and validate delivered solutions against defined business requirements
• Perform functional testing on test environments to verify solution quality and alignment with specifications
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage stakeholder communications and provide regular, transparent project status updates
• Ensure thorough documentation and effective knowledge transfer across all project phases

• Strong requirements gathering, business process mapping, and user story creation abilities
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies including backlog management and sprint planning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholder groups
• Analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex business problems and propose effective solutions
• Experience with functional testing and UAT coordination
• Familiarity with Service Now ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or related platform modules
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within defined project timelines
• Familiarity with DEX/Nex Think tools and digital employee experience concepts

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications or digital transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments
• Proven track record supporting end-to-end software development and implementation projects
• Experience working with Service Now platform implementations preferred
• Background supporting utility, energy, or regulated industry organizations is a plus

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification preferred
• Service Now platform certification or formal training is an advantage
