ETL & Data Validation

• Validate ETL/ELT workflows developed using Informatica Power Center, IICS, or similar tools.
• Perform source-to-target data validation across systems.
• Develop and execute test cases for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Validate business rules, transformations, aggregations, lookups, joins, and data quality rules.

Databricks & Big Data Testing

• Validate Azure Databricks pipelines built using PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Test Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and data-sharing processes.
• Validate data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and reporting outputs.
• Perform reconciliation between source systems and Databricks Lakehouse environments.

Data Quality & Automation

• Design automated data validation frameworks.
• Develop SQL/PySpark scripts for test automation and reconciliation.
• Execute data profiling and data quality assessments.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.

Performance & Defect Management

• Conduct ETL performance and scalability testing.
• Analyze large datasets and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to resolve defects.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards and governance processes.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead testing efforts for complex data migration and transformation projects.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and release validation.
• Provide test status reporting and risk assessments to project leadership.

Technical Skills

• 7+ years of ETL/Data Warehouse Testing experience.
• Strong experience in Informatica Power Center/IICS.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Advanced SQL querying and data analysis.
• Experience with PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience validating APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
