Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Lead job in Denver, Colorado
Akkodis is seeking a highly experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Lead for a client focused on enhancing and maturing their information security governance program. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the overall GRC program while partnering with key stakeholders to redesign and improve governance processes, intake workflows, and executive reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Governance, Risk, and Compliance experience and a strong background in information security, risk management, compliance, and audit programs.
Pay/Salary Range: $60.00/HR to $80.00/HR. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) experience
. - Strong understanding of information security governance, risk management, compliance, and audit functions.
- Experience working with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and PCI DSS
. - Experience developing policies, procedures, and security controls.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership and governance committees.
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGRC, or CISA
. - Experience redesigning or maturing enterprise GRC programs.
- Experience developing executive-level dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Background working in highly regulated environments.
