We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

About the Role
Axiom Technologies is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer (Dispatch/Part-Time Role) based in Denver,CO USA. This Dispatch/Part-Time, independent contractor role involves providing both on-site and remote support for end users while efficiently managing assignments and coordinating service requests.
You’ll serve as the go-to technical resource for desktop support, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and smooth coordination among field technicians and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
    Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
    Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
    Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
    Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
    Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
    Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
  • Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
  • Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently in onsite support environments

Tools Required to Carry

  • Engineers must carry the following tools while attending onsite support requests:
  • Windows Laptop
  • LAN Cable
  • Screwdriver Toolkit Basic IT troubleshooting tools

Work Model

  • On-demand / field support role
  • Work assignments will be shared by the Service Delivery Team
  • Engineers will be contacted via phone or email when support is required
  • Engineers will receive site location, SPOC details, and reporting time before each assignment
  • No guaranteed number of working hours
