We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Automation & Performance Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manual and automated testing, test case design, defect management, debugging, performance testing, and test data analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, API, exploratory, and performance testing.
- Develop automation using Playwright, Type Script, Java, k6, MCP, AI-assisted testing, or similar tools.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve defects.
- Debug issues using Google Dev Tools, application logs, HTTP requests/responses, stack traces, and other diagnostic tools.
- Design realistic performance and load test scenarios, including user journeys and data parameterization.
- Perform database validation using relational and No
SQL databases. - Analyze test requirements, production data, quality risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Use tools such as Zephyr Scale, Git Lab, Jira, or similar platforms for test and defect management.
- Apply testing techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, and Exploratory Testing.
- Proactively identify quality issues early in the SDLC.
- Collaborate with developers, business teams, system personnel, and management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing principles.
- Experience with Playwright, Type Script, Java, and/or other scripting languages.
- Experience with API, regression, functional, exploratory, and performance testing.
- Experience with k6 or similar performance testing tools.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and No
SQL databases. - Knowledge of test data management and data governance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
