We’re working with a leading technology services organisation supporting large-scale, globally distributed data centre networks
.

They’re looking for a Network Operations Engineer II to join the team as a key Tier 2 escalation point — taking ownership of complex network issues, driving incidents through to resolution and helping improve the way the network is operated.

• Troubleshoot and support large-scale Data Centre networks
• Act as the Tier 2 escalation point for critical incidents
• Troubleshoot routers, switches, circuits, optics and cabling
• Work across BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs and IP transport networks
• Respond to major incidents and support SEV processes
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues
• Work with engineering and Data Centre teams on maintenance
• Maintain network changes, documentation and operational procedures
• Network monitoring tools — Solar Winds, Nagios, PRTG or similar
• Packet capture & traffic analysis

• 5+ years of network operations experience
• Strong routing and switching knowledge
• Experience troubleshooting production network environments at scale
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable owning escalated incidents through to resolution
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• CCNP, JNCIP or ITIL v4 are advantageous

• Client-site role in Denver, CO
• Work within a globally distributed Data Centre environment
