Security Engineer

Lead advanced penetration testing engagements
Serve as a critical line of defense for on-premises and cloud application portfolios
Craft sophisticated attack plans to identify vulnerabilities
Provide detailed, actionable remediation guidance to development teams
Build and operate agentic AI workflows to scale security testing capabilities
Increase testing coverage across complex system architectures
Make risk-based security decisions
Champion a proactive security culture using human judgment and autonomous agents
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive long-term security maturity
Mentor team members and provide constructive technical feedback

• Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, Master’s plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year in application-level penetration testing
• Advanced proficiency in offensive security across web applications, mobile applications, networks, and distributed systems
• Deep technical understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation strategies
• Experience with public cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP
• Ability to develop and maintain custom tooling using Python or Bash
• Active contributions to the security community preferred, such as research publications, CVEs, open-source projects, or bug-bounty recognitions
• Strong proficiency in C++, JavaScript, Python, or Go preferred
• Experience with Splunk products or similar large-scale data platforms preferred
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships with engineering teams preferred
• Communication, mentoring, and constructive technical feedback skills preferred

Demonstrates advanced penetration testing expertise with a focus on offensive security across web and mobile applications, as well as cloud environments. Capable of crafting attack plans, providing remediation guidance, and mentoring teams to enhance security maturity.
