In this role, you'll demonstrate your analytical abilities and support the successful execution of project goals and deliverables. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact by addressing unique business challenges in both client and internal projects.

Work you'll do
  • As a Data Architecture & Engineering Intern, you will work with our consultants in the field to support client engagements and facilitate the delivery of analytics
  • Work with advanced technologies including Snowflake and its native Cortex AI capabilities, Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration, and a range of AWS services
  • Participate in R+D projects applying Snowflake Cortex AI and other emerging capabilities to healthcare claims data, connecting your academic coursework to real-world engineering challenges
  • Analyze, synthesize, and interpret complex data sets, finding efficient ways to integrate client data and produce analytical outputs that support client delivery
  • Utilize industry-standard Dev Ops practices to develop and maintain high-quality, version-controlled data engineering solutions, ensuring smooth deployment to high-availability production environments

Requirements Education & Eligibility
  • Current undergraduate student entering either their third year of a4-year degree program or in the fourth year of a 5-year program(Spring 2028 Grad)
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Must be able to spend the summer in our downtown Chicago office, in office daily during the dates of June 7 - August 13, 2027
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in data architecture or engineering
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies
  • Ability to approach problem-solving with logical and analytical thinking

    Capable of understanding business and project goals to craft and deliver meaningful solutions to our clients
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SQL and Python, with the ability to further develop and apply these skills
  • Works effectively both independently and in group settings
  • Excited to support Analysts, Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers in developing creative solutions for clients
Preferred Requirements
  • Degree/Major in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3.3 or higher cumulative and major GPA
  • Relevant work experience, including internships, summer positions, or part-time jobs
  • Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development, and interest in applying them within a governed enterprise data platform.
  • Active involvement in university clubs or organizations related to consulting, business, or leadership, showcasing relevant skills and interests
