Position Summary
The AI Enablement Agent Development & Automation Intern will support the design, prototyping, testing, and implementation of AI agents and workflow automation solutions across the enterprise. Working directly with the AI Enablement team and business stakeholders, the intern will help identify business needs, gather requirements, map processes, and translate opportunities into practical AI-enabled solutions. The role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise generative AI and agentic technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, Git Hub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, workflow automation, APIs, and enterprise knowledge sources.
The ideal candidate is a curious builder and problem solver who enjoys understanding how people work and using technology to make those processes simpler, faster, and more intelligent.
- Meet with business stakeholders to understand business problems, workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI and automation.
- Assist with requirements gathering, process mapping, use-case definition, and solution design for AI-enabled workflows and agents.
- Build and prototype AI agents, copilots, prompts, workflows, and automations using approved enterprise technologies.
- Support solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Automate, Git Hub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and other approved AI technologies.
- Assist with connecting AI solutions to approved enterprise knowledge sources, applications, APIs, and business processes.
- Develop and test prompts, agent instructions, knowledge retrieval approaches, workflows, and user interactions.
- Conduct functional testing and user acceptance testing and document issues, results, feedback, and recommended improvements.
- Create documentation including requirements, process flows, solution designs, test cases, user guides, and implementation materials.
- Partner with AI Enablement, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Compliance, and business teams to ensure solutions follow enterprise AI governance and security requirements.
- Help measure the effectiveness of AI solutions through metrics such as time saved, adoption, quality, accuracy, user satisfaction, and business value.
- Research emerging AI technologies and agentic capabilities and develop small proofs-of-concept to evaluate potential enterprise applications.
- Support the AI Enablement team's pipeline of AI use cases, pilots, prototypes, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
