Database AdministratorSalary: $125,000 - $150,000
Location:
Onsite Denver, Colorado
- Serve as a strategic Database Administrator supporting enterprise-wide modernization initiatives.
- Gain exposure to cloud technologies, analytics, data governance, and emerging AI capabilities.
- Lead high-impact data migration and conversion efforts tied to a major technology transformation.
- Work with modern Microsoft SQL Server and Azure data platforms in a highly visible role.
- Collaborate directly with business leaders, technical teams, and implementation partners.
- Influence data quality, security, and governance practices across the organization.
- Help establish trusted data foundations that support reporting, analytics, and decision-making.

- Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure-based database environments as the lead Database Administrator.
- Ensure database performance, security, availability, backup, and recovery processes.
- Lead data migration, conversion, and readiness activities for enterprise modernization projects.
- Partner with business, technical, and vendor teams to support system implementations.
- Support data quality, governance, integration, and reporting initiatives.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable data platforms that enable analytics and operational success.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Experience with database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Experience with Azure SQL, database security, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Previous experience as a Database Administrator supporting production environments is highly preferred.
- Experience serving as a Database Administrator during data migration or large-scale system implementation projects is a plus.
