Key Responsibilities for the Database Administrator:

Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure-based database environments as the lead Database Administrator.
Ensure database performance, security, availability, backup, and recovery processes.
Lead data migration, conversion, and readiness activities for enterprise modernization projects.
Partner with business, technical, and vendor teams to support system implementations.
Support data quality, governance, integration, and reporting initiatives.
Develop and maintain secure, scalable data platforms that enable analytics and operational success.

Qualifications for the Database Administrator:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related experience.
5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments.
Experience with database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Experience with Azure SQL, database security, and cloud-based data platforms.
Previous experience as a Database Administrator supporting production environments is highly preferred.
Experience serving as a Database Administrator during data migration or large-scale system implementation projects is a plus.
