Key Responsibilities for the Database Administrator:
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure-based database environments as the lead Database Administrator.
  • Ensure database performance, security, availability, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Lead data migration, conversion, and readiness activities for enterprise modernization projects.
  • Partner with business, technical, and vendor teams to support system implementations.
  • Support data quality, governance, integration, and reporting initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable data platforms that enable analytics and operational success.
Qualifications for the Database Administrator:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, database security, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Previous experience as a Database Administrator supporting production environments is highly preferred.
  • Experience serving as a Database Administrator during data migration or large-scale system implementation projects is a plus.
