Agentic MGA Forward Deployed Underwriter

Accelerant is building a fundamentally new way for MGAs to operate. Through agentic AI, we are helping our Member MGAs transform insurance operations to be more intelligent, scalable, and effective. The Agentic MGA Forward Deployed Underwriter will turn that vision into reality by redefining each program’s underwriting approach for the agentic era from idea to production.

You will work with MGA executives, insurance experts, and a cross-functional project team to define requirements, guide delivery, and get programs live. This is a high-ownership opportunity to shape Accelerant’s future and establish how agentic AI comes to life inside an MGA.

• Own each Agentic MGA program implementation end-to‑end and remain accountable for launch
• Lead executive‑level discussions with MGAs and translate operational needs into clear requirements and decisions
• Build the project plan, manage milestones and risks, and provide concise executive updates
• Work closely with a project team of Forward Deployed Engineers, Accelerant platform engineers and the MGAs to translate the insurance product into an agentic system
• Set engineering priorities and deadlines, resolve tradeoffs, and remove blockers
• Own the UAT plan, readiness, issue resolution, stakeholder sign‑off, and training plan
• Build a repeatable implementation playbook that increases launch speed and quality
• Maintain a relentless bias for execution and measurable Member value

• Agentic MGA programs launch successfully and at increasing speed
• Member MGAs adopt the new underwriting and risk selection model with confidence
• Each implementation improves the playbook for the next

• 8 to 12 years of relevant P&C insurance and technology experience
• A track record leading complex, cross‑functional implementation, or transformation programs
• Credibility with insurance professionals and confidence leading senior client conversations
• Technical fluency and experience partnering closely with engineers and with underwriting teams
• Exceptional prioritization, structured problem solving, follow‑through, and bias for execution
• Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to unblock yourself and your team
• Bachelor’s degree required
