Commercial Insurance Account Manager; Executive Risk

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a Risk Management team. This full-time, exempt position will play a critical role in supporting Sales Executives by marketing, processing, and selling all lines of commercial insurance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of insurance contracts, coverages, and industry practices, and will provide technical expertise to ensure the highest level of service to clients.

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience.

• Develop and produce submissions for various insurance coverages, including complex coverages.
• Analyze and compare insurance policies to ensure optimal coverage for clients.
• Assist in quoting new and renewal business, with a focus on Executive Risk (D&O, EPLI, Cyber, Crime, etc.) and middle-market accounts.
• Understand and apply knowledge of major insurance coverages, including General Liability, Commercial Automobile, Workers' Compensation, Property, Business Income, and Umbrella policies.
• Interpret loss information, loss forecasting, collateral, and accruals.
• Provide technical support to Sales Executives and collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
• Pursue professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, CRM, or ARM to enhance expertise.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3-5 years of prior insurance industry experience, with a preference for candidates with 5+ years of experience in Professional Lines.
• Licensing:
  Current Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Skills:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and understand commercial lines coverage, forms, rating, and policies.
  • Proficiency in insurance software (experience with EPIC is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
