This is an independent contractor on-site role for a Freelance Interpreter located in Denver, CO. The Interpreter will provide professional language interpretation services in settings such as medical appointments, educational classes, and workers’ compensation sessions. Responsibilities include facilitating effective communication by accurately conveying spoken language in real-time, ensuring clarity and cultural sensitivity. The Interpreter will work directly with diverse clients, ensuring messages are delivered accurately in compliance with established standards.

• Strong proficiency in at least two languages, with excellent verbal and listening skills in both
• Experience with on-site interpretation in healthcare, educational, or government settings
• Knowledge of cultural nuances and ability to maintain impartiality and professionalism
• Familiarity with medical, legal, or technical terminology is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate meaningful interactions
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and adaptability in high-pressure or fast‑paced environments
• Certification as an interpreter (e.g., CCHI) is preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation to fulfill in-person, on‑site assignments in Denver, CO
• Ability to meet confidentiality and ethical standards as per industry regulations
• Entry level interpreters with no experience are welcome to apply
