Job DescriptionProvide paralegal support to the Payor Contracting group, focusing on drafting and reviewing payor contract agreements and amendments, assisting with regulatory and compliance requirements, and supporting a fast‑paced legal environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare, edit, and redline payor agreements, amendment documents, credentialing documents, and ancillary contract forms.
- Conduct initial review of contract terms for consistency with Best Demonstrated Practices, reimbursement language, and compliance requirements.
- Summarize contract terms for attorney and business team review.
- Assist in ensuring payor agreements align with applicable federal and state regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and CMS requirements; research healthcare laws and regulations.
- Participate in other projects and work streams as assigned.
- Other duties include attending team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed; following teammate guidelines, employment policies, and company procedures; maintaining consistent punctual attendance.
- Associate’s Degree required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Four years experience as a Paralegal.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
- Experience drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
