Our client serves as outside general counsel to emerging companies in the life sciences and technology sectors. This is an opportunity to work alongside ex–Big Law trained attorneys in a boutique environment that prioritizes sophisticated work, practical judgment, and sustainable practice.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience handling commercial and technology contracts at a top national or international firm, an elite (Chambers-ranked) boutique, or a sophisticated in‑house department.
This role offers true general counsel‑style training and long‑term growth within a firm that values balance — with a 1500 billable benchmark (bonus eligible beginning at 1300).
Representative Work- Review, draft, and negotiate operational, commercial, and technology contracts for tech and life sciences companies
- Software licensing and SaaS agreements
- Manufacturing and supply agreements
- Research & development agreements
- Intellectual property licensing
- Sales and distribution agreements
- Participate directly in contract negotiations
- Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to align agreements with business objectives and regulatory/compliance considerations
