As a Public Works Inventory Technician, you’ll be behind-the-scenes supporting our Fleet and Streets Teams—making sure the right parts, materials, and tools are exactly where they need to be. From managing inventory for everything from police vehicle parts to heavy equipment, to keeping our shop spaces organized and running smoothly, you’ll play a crucial, hands‑on role in keeping essential public services on the road.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
Hiring range is $25.24 - $28.04

Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate. One (1) year of stockroom experience in automotive or light/heavy‑duty equipment repair, including parts identification, receiving, stocking, issuing and maintaining inventory records of automotive and heavy‑duty equipment parts and equipment. Forklift certification or ability to earn within 6 months of hire. Valid driver's license required. Appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
