Assistant Distribution Coordinator / Logistics Coordinator

My client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to play a critical role in managing shipment documentation, customer logistics support, and contract reconciliation activities. This position sits at the center of operations, helping ensure products move efficiently, customers receive exceptional service, and revenue processes remain accurate and compliant.

• Enter and manage Bills of Lading and shipment activity within the company’s distribution system
• Monitor shipment counts, contract performance, and billing accuracy
• Serve as a customer contact for shipment activity, documentation, and logistics inquiries
• Reconcile shipment data against scheduled orders and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with freight rates, fuel surcharges, demurrage, detention charges, and rail-related costs
• Prepare reports, loading summaries, and required documentation

• Degree in business, accounting, computer technology, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with logistics databases and reporting tools
• Exposure to rail transportation and/or international markets
