Working closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, you'll influence key business decisions, improve forecast accuracy, and drive greater agility across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who enjoys solving complex challenges, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and making a measurable impact in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment characterized by long product life cycles and evolving customer demands.

Forecasting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts at multiple levels (SKU, region, customer) using statistical models and business inputs.
  • Analyze historical trends, customer behavior, and external indicators to refine forecast accuracy.
  • Own forecast accuracy metrics (e.g., MAPE, forecast bias) and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support revenue predictability and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Business Unit forecast performance reviews and implement corrective actions to improve bias and accuracy metrics.
  • Conduct scenario planning to assess demand risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with supply and commercial teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to align demand plans with financial forecasts, capacity planning, and inventory strategies.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis for insights and risks for S&OP and executive planning meetings.

Process & Tool Optimization

  • Champion digital planning capabilities and continuous improvement in forecasting processes.
  • Utilize advanced planning tools (SAP IBP) and drive adoption of best practices.
  • Leverage predictive analytics to enhance forecast precision and scenario modeling.

Inventory & Supply Alignment

  • Support inventory optimization and working capital initiatives by aligning demand with supply and production plans.
  • Collaborate with supply planning and operations to ensure demand signals translate into executable plans.
