Sr. Manager of North America Logistics & Transportation
This role leads the end-to-end transportation strategy and execution across North America, with full ownership of freight spend, carrier performance, and network optimization. You will shape how products move across the United States, Canada, and Mexico—driving cost efficiency, service reliability, and scalable growth.
As a strategic and operational leader, you will balance long-term network design with day-to-day execution, ensuring transportation supports business performance, customer expectations, and supply chain resilience.

Compensation$140,000 - $155,000 base salary + 15% bonus.

Responsibilities- Define and execute a forward-looking transportation strategy aligned to business growth and supply chain priorities
- Lead network optimization across inbound, intercompany, and outbound flows to improve cost, service, and flexibility
- Oversee a $100M+ freight budget, delivering measurable year-over-year cost improvements
- Build and manage high-performing carrier and 3PL partnerships across all modes (parcel, LTL, truckload, intermodal, ocean, air)
- Establish governance, performance standards, and scalable operating models across all facilities
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies
- Lead transportation analytics, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives (TMS, ERP, BI tools)
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams
- Serve as the North America transportation subject matter expert and strategic advisor to leadership
- Reduce transportation cost as a percentage of sales while improving service levels
- Increase on-time pickup and delivery performance across the network
- Strengthen carrier reliability, capacity strategies, and risk mitigation plans
- Improve visibility through dashboards, KPIs, and advanced analytics
- Support network changes, acquisitions, and new facility launches
- Advance sustainability initiatives through smarter routing, mode optimization, and emissions reduction
- Build a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence
- Freight spend vs. budget consistently optimized
- Measurable improvements in cost per shipment and network productivity
- Strong carrier scorecard performance and contract compliance
- High service levels across on-time pickup and delivery
- Reduced claims, improved invoice accuracy, and better asset utilization
- 10+ years of progressive experience in transportation and supply chain leadership
- Proven success managing large-scale freight spend ($100M+) and complex networks
- Deep expertise across transportation modes and carrier negotiation strategies
- Experience leading multi-site operations in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments
- Strong analytical capabilities with TMS, ERP, and data visualization tools
- Track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements
- North America scope experience (U.S., Canada, Mexico), including cross-border operations
- Manufacturing plant and distribution network support
- Knowledge of customs, trade compliance, and international logistics
- Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or CSCMP
