Role Description The Procurement Representative is a contract, on-site role based in Denver, CO, with some ability to work remote. This position is responsible for managing supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting the procurement of materials and services needed for manufacturing operations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing purchase requisitions, obtaining and evaluating quotes, negotiating contract terms, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
The role also involves tracking orders, resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate procurement records, and collaborating with internal teams to meet project timelines and cost objectives. The Procurement Representative will work closely with stakeholders to optimize sourcing strategies and support compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Procurement skills, including purchasing processes, sourcing, and vendor evaluation with 5+ years experience is preferred.
- Be familiar with ERP systems such as SAP
- Candidates should possess Supplier Management and Supplier Performance skills to maintain effective relationships and monitor quality, delivery, and reliability.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions aligned with business requirements.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess cost and risk, and support decision-making in procurement activities.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or industrial environments is beneficial.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Denver, CO or remotely and manage multiple priorities within deadlines.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
