Position Summary
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in purchasing and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies within the organization. This individual will plan, organize, direct, and control activities related to the procurement functions with Mountain Operations, Food & Beverage, Hospitality and associated ancillary businesses. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities
- Create department systems and procedures in assigned areas of responsibility
- Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability, and prepare market analysis reports relative to the assigned departments
- Evaluate vendor quotations that utilize appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service
- Help to design, implement, manage, and monitor procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements in the assigned areas of responsibility
- Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and change notices
- Work with the Sr Director of Procurement to review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy
- Work with the Sr Director of Procurement to prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications
- Negotiate or supervise the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors for Mountain Operations and ancillary businesses
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement or related field
- Five years’ experience in Procurement or related experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, purchasing software, and any inventory software
- Proficient knowledge in developing and executing business strategies that align with the company’s long‑term goals
