Overview In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our vendors to ensure the consistent supply of high-quality products. Your expertise will drive our procurement strategy, optimise vendor performance, and enhance our supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high service levels and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to achieve optimal terms for the company.
- Monitor vendor performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits of vendor capabilities and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor capabilities with operational needs.
- Proven experience in vendor management or a similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse data and generate reports to inform decision-making.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and procurement systems.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Fluency in additional languages.
