Central Supply Director

As Central Supply Director at Life Care Centers, you'll lead all supply chain and materials management operations for our senior living and rehab facility. You will oversee purchasing, inventory, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies to ensure clinicians have what they need for safe, timely patient care. Partnering closely with nursing, rehab, and administration, you'll manage vendor relationships, control costs, maintain regulatory compliance, and guide a dedicated supply team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies for the facility
• Ensure timely, accurate supply support to nursing, rehab, and clinical teams
• Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and contract negotiations to control costs
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies for materials management
• Monitor budgets, analyze usage data, and implement cost-saving initiatives
• Develop and optimize inventory control processes and par levels
• Lead, schedule, and mentor central supply staff, fostering a team-based culture
• Collaborate with leadership on supply planning for census and service changes
• Ensure accurate documentation within ERP or materials management systems
• Support quality and safety initiatives through reliable availability of critical supplies
