Job Responsibilities

Stelleninhalte Every vehicle clean. Every detail checked. Every day. At Fox Rent A Car, our Wash Attendant Leads help keep our fleet clean, safe, and ready for the next customer. You'll coordinate daily vehicle-cleaning operations, perform quality checks, communicate with multiple departments, and help keep vehicles moving efficiently through the cleaning and ready-line process.

Your Primary Focus Is To Coordinate daily activities with the Manager on Duty and department management Oversee the vehicle cleaning team and ensure vehicles meet Fox quality standards Perform quality-control inspections and spot checks on vehicles throughout the shift Track vehicle cleaning, fueling, fluids, and servicing requirements Coordinate lot setup and ensure vehicles are classified and parked in the correct stalls Communicate vehicle status with Counter Leads, Manager on Duty, Fleet Production, and Operations teams Identify and communicate out-of-service and non-rentable vehicles Organize and maintain the Pre-Clean Car Area (PCCA), wash bay, fuel line, and ready line Coordinate vehicle movement from the overflow lot to the PCCA and ready line as needed Fuel vehicles as needed and ensure keys are properly tagged and delivered to the key booth Run and post the reservation manifest by vehicle class and time Complete vehicle quality-assurance audits for cleanliness, safety, and maintenance Complete incident and accident reports accurately and submit them to the Manager on Duty before the end of the shift Coordinate with Return Agents to ensure vehicles are moved into cleaning production promptly Maintain a clean and organized wash bay, PCCA, and ready-line area Support the team and assist with operational needs throughout the day Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives.

Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience Previous rental car experience preferred Valid driver's license with a safe driving record We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle quality Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate and carry out instructions from management Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, mids, nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to read, write, and understand English Knowledge of Rent 2000 and rental-car operations preferred Ability to maintain a professional appearance and comply with uniform standards

This role is non-exempt and pays $20.29 an hour. Employees have access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with prescription savings, along with a 401k retirement plan.
