Radon Mitigation Partner (1099) – Denver, CO
Join Green Works Inspections & Engineering as an independent contractor Radon Mitigation Partner to undertake mitigation projects across Denver Metro and surrounding areas. No need to generate your own leads; we refer projects directly from our radon assessment team.
Job OverviewWe seek experienced, licensed radon professionals for a 1099 independent contractor role that includes system design, installation, and documentation following NRPP, EPA, and Colorado DORA requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and manage radon mitigation projects referred by our radon inspection team.
- Evaluate properties and determine appropriate mitigation system design based on site conditions and radon test results.
- Install sub‑slab depressurization or crawlspace systems in compliance with NRPP, EPA, and Colorado (DORA) requirements.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, real estate agents, or property managers regarding system functionality, expectations, and safety.
- Coordinate or conduct post‑mitigation testing as needed.
- Submit required reports, system photos, and completion documentation to Green Works.
- Ensure clean, professional work that aligns with our commitment to service quality.
- Active NRPP Radon Mitigation Certification (or Colorado DORA‑accepted equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of radon mitigation experience in residential environments.
- Familiarity with Colorado’s radon regulations and EPA standards.
- Must have reliable transportation and necessary tools to perform the work.
- Liability insurance and a business license (as applicable).
- Strong communication and time‑management skills.
- Ability to pass a background check (if required by certain clients or properties).
Employment type:
1099 independent contractor (no benefits). Pay is hourly or per project.
- Hourly: $26–$50 per hour, based on experience and project complexity.
- Or per project, depending on scope and property type.
- Invoices are paid promptly upon completion and submission of required documentation.
- No marketing or sales needed – we bring the projects to you.
- Consistent job flow from a high‑volume inspection pipeline.
- Back‑office support for client coordination and project scoping.
- Flexibility to set your own schedule and project load.
