**** THE JOB:
** Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in keeping our facility running smoothly. You'll perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring the integrity of our property. ** THE STARTING RATE: $20.55*
* ** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment across the property, completing assigned jobs and maintaining logbooks.
* Utilize power and hand tools effectively to carry out job assignments.
* Diagnose electrical and gas issues using tools such as amp meters, voltmeters, and pressure gauges.
* Read blueprints and wiring schematics to install and maintain electrical components.
* Maintain awareness of property layout, cleanliness, safety, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while informing the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions.
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** The candidate will have a high school diploma or a GED.
* They will possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
* The ideal candidate must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* They should be well-rounded in maintenance skills, with experience in plumbing, mechanical work, electrical systems, and carpentry being a plus.
* The candidate must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures, including tasks that involve working on roofs, ladders, and lifts.
* They should feel comfortable around barn animals.
