Maintenance Custodian Associate – Sam's Club

Base Pay Range: $19.00/hr – $26.00/hr

As a Maintenance Custodian Associate, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. You will be on your feet, performing sweeping, mopping, operating floor scrubbers, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for members and associates. You will provide a positive first and last impression for every customer and maintain a positive attitude in a fast‑paced environment.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, and handling hazardous materials.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals and supplies.
• Respond to spills, dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the company environmental sustainability program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies and place orders to replenish supplies as needed.
• Work entire shift on your feet and adapt quickly to changing scenarios.
• Work in physically demanding environments and keep member satisfaction as your top priority.
