Broadband Field Technician – Englewood, Colorado Office

Full-time

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.

• This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and is subject to change, including additional duties as assigned.
• Locate aerial, buried, and underground utilities through nondestructive methods.
• Locate and identify building utility entrances and exits.
• Distinguish types of cabling and equipment on utility poles.
• Record and document the field data in accordance with CAD standard formats.
• Document location of telephone poles and attachments.
  
  Identify and measure duct banks and riser conduits.
• Operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
• Travel is a mandatory requirement of the role as assigned. The percentage of travel will fluctuate based on business needs and may account for 40% of the time worked. Travel includes to other offices or project sites throughout the US.
• Perform independent research and adapt to changing priorities.
• Work with minimal supervision/in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work product.
• Adhere to Cobb Fendley’s safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment.
• Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity.

• Cognitive Requirements:
  Selective attention, oral comprehension, oral expression, speech recognition, speech clarity, written comprehension, written expression, problem sensitivity, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, number facility, information ordering, category flexibility, flexibility of closure, fluency of ideas, and originality. Must remain alert and responsive while working in lane closure zones adjacent to high‑traffic and dynamic areas.
• Physical Abilities:
  Includes hand‑eye coordination, steadiness, upper and lower body strength, control precision, stamina, multi‑limb coordination, static strength, manual dexterity, and depth perception. Extended periods of sitting and standing in an upright position at a workstation or job site. Movement within the office and job sites, including navigating between floors, workstations, high‑traffic areas, and various walking surfaces. Forward flexion, expansion, or lateral rotation of the head and neck while using multiple computer screens.
