Regional Asset Manager (Multifamily & Social Impact) The Company:

Our client is an innovative, vertically integrated real equity firm that sits at the intersection of institutional investment and social responsibility. With over $750M in project capitalization, the firm manages specialized private equity funds that acquire and stabilize multifamily assets across the U.S. Their unique "integrated housing" model transforms market-rate properties into high-performing communities that blend workforce housing with permanent supportive housing for vulnerable populations.

The Role:

We are seeking a Regional Asset Manager to lead the Western U.S. portfolio for a specialized $185M+ Social Impact Fund. This role is the "CEO of the assets" for the region, balancing high-level financial strategy with on-the-ground operational execution. You will report to the Senior Director of Operations and ensure that each asset meets its financial, mission-driven, and compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Strategy: Drive the annual business planning process for a regional multifamily portfolio, focusing on NOI growth, capital expenditure management, and social impact targets.
  • Financial Modeling & Reporting: Lead internal property valuations, cash flow forecasting and variance analysis; manage reporting for institutional LPs and lenders.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct third-party property management partners, ensuring a "property management plus" approach that prioritizes resident outcomes and operational excellence.
  • Compliance Management: Oversight of regulatory covenants and affordability restrictions to ensure the portfolio meets its mission of providing permanent housing solutions.
  • Acquisition Support: Partner with the investment team on due diligence for new Western Region acquisitions, providing market-specific insights.
The Ideal Candidate :
  • Experience: 4–9 years of professional experience in Multifamily Asset Management, Real Estate Finance, or Investment Brokerage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills are essential; you must be comfortable with complex financial modeling and waterfall structures.

    Experience with
    Yardi, App Folio
, or similar software is required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA/MSRE) is preferred.
  • Niche Knowledge: Prior experience with affordable housing programs or regulatory compliance is a significant plus.
  • Location: This is a Denver-based position. While the firm operates a flexible virtual model, candidates must be residents of the Denver Metro Area for proximity to regional projects.
Why Join This Team?
  • Impact-Driven: You aren't just managing buildings; you are solving homelessness and creating pathways for private capital to invest responsibly.
  • High Autonomy: Join a lean, entrepreneurial team that values ownership, independent decision-making, and "results-over-ego."
  • Institutional Benefits: Competitive base/bonus, comprehensive health/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k) program with a company match.
