Job Overview

Santa Fe Mechanical is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from pre-construction through closeout. In this role, you will coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and progress tracking
  • Review mechanical plans, specifications, and submittals
  • Lead project meetings and communicate updates to all stakeholders
  • Proactively resolve issues to maintain project timelines and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Support field teams with decision-making and resource coordination

    Provide regular project status and financial updates to leadership
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and jobsite operations
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with teams and clients
  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and construction documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
