We are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee the construction process in our dynamic and growing company. As a Superintendent, you will be at the heart of our construction projects, using your leadership skills and industry expertise to guide teams, manage resources, and ensure the successful completion of high-quality projects. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about construction, teamwork, and achieving excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery and use of materials and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and timely delivery to maintain project schedule.
  • Manage a team of workers, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, growth, and high performance.
  • Develop and maintain work schedules to ensure project milestones are met and adjust as necessary to address any unforeseen issues or delays.
  • Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, and materials, ensuring projects stay within budget without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are understood and met.
  • Hire and manage subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with the project's goals, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Oversee Contract Management, Subcontractor Management, Risk Management, Quality Control, Budgeting, Scheduling, Safety Management, and Materials Management.
  • Ensure all construction activities align with safety regulations and standards, creating a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Lead teams effectively, promoting open communication, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in coordinating materials, managing teams, creating work schedules, and cost estimation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, methods, and safety laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, and team members.
  • Proficient in Contract Management, Subcontractor Management, Risk Management, Quality Control, Budgeting, Scheduling, Safety Management, Team Leadership, and Materials Management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in relevant software, including MS Office and project management software.
