General Management, Maintenance Manager
The Senior Maintenance Manager is a distinct leadership role overseeing multiple communities that requires excellent customer service skills to build rapport with your team, residents, and vendors. You are the backbone of the community and your ability to oversee service operations while maintaining the communities you serve will be vital. Our Senior Maintenance Managers are hands‑on leaders who enthusiastically take on new challenges to better support the Maintenance team.
Responsibilities- Supervise a team while completing the building and annual unit inspections to comply with local regulations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to set expectations and meet deadlines.
- Prepare and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize emergency and service repairs.
- Purchase supplies and schedule vendor services using purchase order systems and proper bidding procedures under the supervision of the General Manager.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in all technical areas of property maintenance, providing mentorship and training to on‑site service teams to develop their skills and abilities.
- Remain open‑minded and flexible as day‑to‑day tasks may change based on the community’s needs.
- 3‑5 years’ experience working in apartment maintenance.
- EPA Certification Type I and II.
$43.00—$47.00 hourly plus bonuses. Health and retirement benefits available as well as apartment rental discounts.
