Capital Projects & Contracts (Construction) Senior Manager
Protiviti is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Capital Projects & Contracts group and support our growing Construction consulting offerings.
As a Senior Manager, you will partner with clients to identify construction and capital project delivery risks, technical challenges, and opportunities to improve the efficiency, governance, and performance of capital programs. You'll develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, and devise solutions to support your clients' needs through using the latest tools and methods. You'll develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery.
You'll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor and provide performance development to teams as you oversee the successful completion of project work plans.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management across the lifecycle.
- Contract strategy, procurement, and delivery models (e.g., EPC, design-build, CM at-risk).
- Contract administration, including change order management, claims mitigation, and dispute resolution.
- Project controls, including cost, schedule, and performance monitoring against KPIs.
- Construction documentation review (budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and reports).
- Contractor and subcontractor performance evaluation and oversight.
- Auditing construction projects and capital programs, including governance and controls frameworks.
- Identifying risks related to cost overruns, schedule delays, scope changes, and disputes.
- Supporting or leading claims analysis, dispute advisory, or forensic project reviews.
- Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.
- Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
- Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.
- Ability to translate and communicate issues, risk, or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
- Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
Your Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field).
- 8+ years of experience in Consulting, Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, or Capital Project Management.
- Experience with construction and project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, e-Builder, Kahua, CMIC, or similar platforms).
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, PE, or similar preferred.
