Senior Asset Manager
Solid Rock Asset Management, LLC ("SRAM")
Position Summary:
The Senior Asset Manager will strategically oversee the overall operations of properties within the SRAM portfolio. In conjunction with the hotel management company(s) and ownership the Senior Asset Manager must develop and execute strategies that support, strengthen and grow profitability, overall results and guest satisfaction. The Senior Asset Manager will also assist with the execution and inspection of PIP and other Capital Projects depending on experience and capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Routinely inspect hotels in the portfolio, creating and tracking directives to improve the various aspects of the hotel operations
- Determine opportunities and assist hotel management with creating and implementing strategies to improve market penetration, revenue generation and expense control
- Conduct periodic (monthly) reviews of financial results evaluating appropriate revenue and expense metrics and critiquing variances to forecasts and budgets
- Works closely with analysts in review and completion of asset management reports
- Coordinates with project managers in execution and inspection of capital projects
- Participates in scheduled and impromptu calls with ownership clients
- Other tasks as called on by the department head
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge and skilled in hotel operations, leadership, and corporate environments
- Excellent understanding of the various reports designed to determine penetration in the market along with revenue channel management
- Knowledgeable in Profit and Loss Statements with an in-depth understanding of standard metrics for determining proper expense evaluation
- Experienced and able to assist hotel management with expense control policies and procedures
- Experience with various hotel Franchises and Brand Standards, must understand the relationships between the Brand and Owner
- Ability to execute corporate, owner, and brand initiatives
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and public speaking skills; ability to identify message points and messaging opportunities
- A team player who thrives in a fast pace, evolving environment
- A self-starter able to succeed without constant direction
- Ability to work flexible schedule that occasionally includes late nights and weekends
