Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager

At North Sky Communications, as a Manager Telecom, you’ll be responsible for organizing, directing, and supervising construction activities for a specific area including subcontractor compliance and project safety/control. The Telecom Manager coordinates construction scheduling and communication and acts as a liaison to others in Operations concerning production, subcontracting, progress and delays. This position will be supporting Division 2 in their Wireless and Installation departments.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Assumes complete responsibility for the assigned Construction Division, its operations, its equipment and its facilities.
- Ensures safety requirements by holding others accountable and supporting commitment to worker safety, workers’ compensation loss management, and DOT compliance in coordination with the EHS department.
- Maintains regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to monitor customer satisfaction and organizational alignment.
- Identifies and implements continuous process improvement initiatives to enable efficient service delivery.
- Identifies, analyzes and reports key performance indicators of divisional operations and holds stakeholders accountable to them, ensuring employee engagement, productivity, and profitability.
- Monitors and enforces an effective work schedule and quality control program to meet the Company’s commitments of quality and timeliness.
- May be responsible for scheduling employees and subcontractors and budgeting time to meet production deadlines safely.
- Collaborates with Project Management personnel to ensure smooth departmental handoffs and proper information/documentation flow.
- Acquires comprehensive knowledge of assigned contracts, including units, pricing, systems and other customer requirements; trains and holds direct reports accountable to such knowledge as needed for their roles.
- May perform duties of field personnel as needed.

- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of related work experience
- Strong knowledge of equipment and practices related to the telecom industry
- General technical knowledge of Fiber to the Home (FTTH) architectures
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with customers, quality inspectors, project managers and subcontractors
- Self-motivated, resourceful, organized and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel
The wage range for Manager Telecom is $ – $ per year.
