Lead – Self Perform Division 7/Waterproofing (Denver, CO)
DPR Construction is looking to add a Lead for our Self Perform Division 7/Waterproofing team.
ResponsibilitiesThe Lead will be ultimately responsible for the day‑to‑day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of multiple commercial waterproofing and fire prevention projects.
- Manage all project team members (project teams range from 2-10 employees).
- Mentor and train project engineers and apply DPR’s people practices.
- Provide 100% detailed and hands‑on knowledge of project scope.
- Understand building processes and systems.
- Perform cost control, billings, collections, change management, and monthly status reporting.
- Estimate, budget, and forecast costs accurately.
- Act as the key point of contact for general contractor teams.
- Challenge and support job sites and GC team members.
- Be accountable for project completion, financials, critical success factors, customer satisfaction, and results.
- Collaborate closely with project team members, project executives, and regional leadership.
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial construction and waterproofing/fire protection experience.
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to create and support team morale.
- Strong technical knowledge in moisture and fire protection.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project‑management software, accounting/cost‑management software, and scheduling software.
- Strong work ethic and can‑do attitude.
- Flexible, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple demanding projects while meeting deadlines.
Salary range: $30,000 – $33,000 per year.
