Overview
Our client is seeking a Service Delivery Project Manager to support a Commercial Engineering PMO within a large Broadband company. This role is responsible for managing customer orders from post‑sale through installation, ensuring orders progress efficiently between departments throughout the organization while removing roadblocks and driving timely delivery. It is an internally focused project‑management role and serves as the central coordinator for engineering and operations, partnering closely with internal cross‑functional teams to ensure successful order fulfillment.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with telecommunications service delivery, order management, or implementation experience who enjoy coordinating multiple stakeholders and driving projects to completion. This is a potential temp‑to‑hire opportunity requiring onsite work five (5) days per week in either Denver, CO or Charlotte, NC. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of one of these locations and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or transfer requirements.

- Manage commercial broadband customer orders from post‑sale through installation.
- Coordinate the end‑to‑end order lifecycle, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Track and manage orders proactively identifying risks, delays, and dependencies.
- Partner with project sponsors and key stakeholders to prioritize work and resolve order‑related issues.
- Coordinate activities cross‑functionally with departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial Sales, and Field Operations.
- Facilitate communication between cross‑functional teams to remove blockers and accelerate installations.
- Create, track, monitor and report project timelines, order status, and operational metrics.
- Escalate issues appropriately and drive timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Ensure internal stakeholders remain informed of project progress and installation readiness.
- Support continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce installation delays.
- 5+ years of experience in Service Delivery, Project Management, Order Management, or Implementation within the telecommunications, broadband, or cable industry.
- Experience managing customer orders from post‑sale through implementation or installation.
- Strong understanding of broadband service delivery and installation processes, along with broadband network infrastructure.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Field Operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to proactively identify issues and drive resolution.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Experience supporting commercial broadband or enterprise telecommunications services.
- Proven experience with Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Experience with project management and order management systems.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PMI) or coursework training is desired.
Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 1099 role with temp‑to‑hire potential for the right candidate and offers an expected hourly starting rate of $60‑$70.
Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
