Position: ViiV Healthcare (GSK) Regional Sales Director, Rocky Mountains Region

We are seeking an experienced, strategic First Line Leader in Specialty Sales to develop and execute business plans aligned with national and regional goals.

Responsibilities Managing the Business and Driving Performance
  • Align and execute business strategy – marketing, market access, launches, multi‑channel customer engagement, and employee development to deliver exceptional results.
  • Prioritize and customize regional investments/resources (People and Promotion) to maximize top and bottom line growth based on evolving opportunities.
  • Integrate regional healthcare ecosystem trends into business plans (payer, local economics, health‑system & provider value and quality, competition) to maximize success.
  • Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem solving.
  • Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders.
Managing a Performance and Engagement Culture
  • Recruit, hire and develop a high‑performing team of TAMs; build capability for current and future needs and attract diverse talent.
  • Create a coaching culture and apply situational leadership to maximize performance and development.
  • Set tone and culture, role‑model ViiV expectations, and lead through transitions with inspiration and high engagement.
  • Implement corrective action as appropriate to meet business needs and improve performance.
Compliance Accountabilities and Values‑Based Culture
  • Identify and manage risks, allocate resources, and execute on priorities.
  • Understand state regulatory environment and required changes for compliant execution.
  • Escalate issues and risks to central functions, fostering a "speak up" culture.
  • Implement compliance and risk framework at the regional level.
  • Communicate SOPs and ensure ViiV policies are followed (e.g., recognition, reward, discipline, people policies, mandatory training).
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree.
  • 9+ years pharmaceutical sales experience including 6+ years of specialty management leadership.
  • Experience recruiting, developing and leading specialty teams within an integrated account team model.
  • Experience leading specialty teams to launch and deliver products.
  • Experience developing strategic business plans with measurable, action‑oriented objectives.
  • Domestic travel required; may include overnight stays.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialty management experience leading top performing teams.
  • Track record developing account managers and managing underperformance.
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, business acumen, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrated influence without authority in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience leading teams in buy‑and‑bill, reimbursement environments with Specialty Pharmacies.
  • Experience working with HCPs to procure, manage, and administer cold‑chain treatment products.
  • Knowledge of the HIV market.
Benefits

The US annual base salary ranges from $182,250 to $303,750, depending on location, experience, education, and market rates.

In addition, the position offers an annual bonus and eligibility for a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include health care and other insurance coverage for employee and family, retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
