The Wolzien News Deserts Initiatives Manager at the University of Denver will organize efforts to address Colorado's news deserts and serve as DU's primary liaison to local news outlets statewide. This position will also coordinate DU's outreach to high school journalists across Colorado.
This fully philanthropically funded role supports DU's long-term enrollment strategy by positioning journalism and media studies as pathways to civic leadership and media careers, strengthening DU's reputation
