Energy GroupThe Energy Group is responsible for supporting Vantage’s data center portfolio through the execution and management of complex commercial energy agreements, including utility service agreements, power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, gas supply and infrastructure contracts, and other energy‑adjacent arrangements. The team partners closely with project management, development, legal, finance, and external counter parties to ensure contracts are executed efficiently, accurately documented, and aligned with business objectives.
Position OverviewThis role can be based in any of our US locations or remotely. The Energy Project Development Manager is accountable for the end‑to‑end execution of assigned energy projects, serving as the single‑threaded owner responsible for delivering projects that meet schedule, cost, and reliability objectives. The manager drives project planning, coordination, and decision‑making across cross‑functional teams, ensuring alignment between technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
EssentialJob Functions
- Own execution of assigned energy projects from initiation through delivery
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams across T&I, Infrastructure, and Commercial
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Drive decision‑making and raise key challenges as needed
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including utilities and partners
- Ensure alignment across technical, commercial, and schedule requirements
- Track and report project performance, milestones, and risks
- Support development of project strategies and execution plans
- Maintain disciplined documentation and reporting across the project lifecycle
- 7–10 years of experience in energy development, infrastructure delivery, or project management (PMP preferred)
- Experience with energy, utility, or large‑scale infrastructure projects
- Strong project management skills, including schedule, budget, and risk management
- Ability to manage complex, cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with energy project lifecycle and delivery challenges
- Travel required up to 20% (may increase)

CompensationSalary Range: US $140,000–$150,000 Base + Bonus (based on Colorado market data; may vary in other locations). The position is eligible for company benefits.
